With respect to the admission process for MSc (Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Microbiology), the application is through an online portal available at the NirmaUniversity website. The portal is currently open, and the last date for application is June 12th. In this portal all your academic details need to be filled, and supportive copies of marksheets and other documents need to be uploaded as well.
A student seeking admission into the MSc Biochemistry program need to fulfil certain eligibility criteria. Candidates should certainly have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or any of the life sciences subjects. It is mandatory to have at least 50% marks as an aggregate of all semesters/years. Students seeking admission into the MSc Biochemistry stream will be selected based on merit obtained in the national-level entrance examination that will be conducted roughly during the second week of June.
The entrance test will be based on the undergraduate syllabus of Life sciences and Chemistry. Pattern of test will be 100 objective/ multiple choice question based with a total of 100 marks. Following the completion of this entrance test, counseling sessions will be done, after which-on the same day results will also be declared.
